What´s DDA all about ? I´m gonna give you a short introduction :

"Dynamic Discord Agency is a Berlin-based company with the profession of promoting, booking and managing talented bands, well known acts as well as promising newcomers. We are running our business based on our love to music, to the punkrock-scene, to the DIY-ethics amd based on the fact that we are trying to share a passion and a vision with those people who sold their hearts and soul to handmade and committed music. It´s not only punkrock we are bound to, since we are not narrow-minded or limited, we also are open to various kinds of guitar-music, such as Ska, Indie, Hardcore, Garage, Metal etc, in the end the main thing is that the music is played with passion and in any case aming against shit as racism, fascism, discriminating ideologies and other stupidities."

 

HISTORY :

When Sash started Dynamic Discord in the summer of 2004, it was a little bit like a leap in the dark. He had been working at Destiny Records before, a division Destiny Tourbooking. There he did promotion as well as other label related tasks, such as mercantlie work, shipments, administration...all that kind of stuff you´ve got to deal with when working for a small indie label. He got into the matter of dealing with press, promotion, planning of releases etc.

Then Sashdecided to change his profession and go into business for himself.
So he came up with doing promotion for A-F Records (a.o. Anti-Flag, Red Lights Flash, Pipedown, The Unseen, The Vacancy) and Porterhouse Records (a.o. Outlie, Circle Jerks) as well as ongoing Destiny Records (a.o. Terrorgruppe, The Movement). Moreover DDA was taking care of Berlin´s High-Energy-Rockers Strom, doing promotion, booking and artist-management.

After a year in only doing promotion, Sash and his fella Frank started to book bands from abroad, starting with South Africa´s hottest punkers Halfprice.

Beginning of 2007 Sash took on 50% of the management for the ambitious German Punkrock-Threepiece The Creetins, sharing the job with ex-Terrorgruppe-part-time-jerk Archi Alert.

In the mid of 2007 two former Fat Wreck Chords interns and music addcits joined the team. Johnny and Steffen got in the ring to spend their amazing energy on promoting great bands. Besides that - both got the great quality to have been working for our friends at Mutti's Booking as well.

At the end of 2007 the guys decided to concentrate on PR-issues only and do booking-stuff just in exceptional cases; so - please no booking requests at the moment, we will not take any requests and offers.

Mid of 2008 Sash decided to retire from DDA and in the consequence a new guy emerges on the stage. It´s Rob, who will fill the gap and bring new blood into DDA. So there we are now.
